  • Women Employment: Allowed in all shifts with consent and safety measures.

  • Contract Labour: Prohibited in core activities; welfare facilities mandatory; licensing for contractors.

  • Inter‑State Migrant Workers: Expanded definition; wage cap ₹18,000; portability of ration and welfare benefits.

  • Inspection: Web‑based inspection scheme; random selection; inspectors empowered to halt unsafe work.
